OK for the money Jul 26, 2010 I read all the good and not so good reviews and decided to buy this.
I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs (ok.. 130 lbs) and here are my comments:
-- assembled in 10 minutes
-- the person who said silicone it up really well was right - do it
-- the person who said to use a 2x4 under the back to decrease the incline was right - do it
-- this is designed for walking and fast walking - NOT running
-- this is designed for a shorter person with a shorter stride
-- if you are looking for the ease, steady movement of an automatic treadmill, do not buy this
-- read the instructions on adjusting when the belt shifts - it takes a few adjustments, but then it stays
-- I can't comment on the digital monitor since my vision isn't so hot (I can't really see the numbers very well)
-- when you get the hang of the walking rhythm, this will be a good workout
-- and, I don't think this is loud (and I'm sensitive to loud machinery)
Good manual treadmill Jul 13, 2010 It too me several adjustments to get the belt at the correct tension, but after I did get it, it's been a pretty good treadmill for the money. Being manual, it is a little work to get it going, but it definitely adds to the workout. It was easy to put together, folds easily. Perfect for my needs.
Broke in a couple months Jun 16, 2010 At first I was relatively satisfied with the treadmill. It's noisy and takes some time to get used to but when it works it does its job very well. I actually managed to lose about 10 pounds in the first month. The problem started shortly after that. The belt started to shift more and more and one time after tightening it something shifted when I was walking and all of a sudden I could smell burning plastic. Turns out the screw was stripped and was grinding into the plastic of the roller.
I've tried to fix it since then but nothing seems to help. I would try to return it but it was cheap and it would probably cost almost as much to ship it back.
good enough Jun 03, 2010 i think that the treadmill is good as it gets for the price. the price was fair and the treadmill is good. putting it together was easy. i mainly bought it for my dad and i use it as well and a person come really work up a sweat within 10 minutes. i would recommend it for people who don't have time to exercise. it does make i bit of noise but one could easy forget as exercise. the belt does go against the wheel but in the manual it tell you how to fix it and if do so it can easy be fix. i think that it work and it good enough and it really doesn't take up space.

Perfect for my needs May 28, 2010 I wanted a treadmill that I can use while watching TV in the living room and that I am able to put aside when company visits. This truly fits the bill. I'm happy to be able to get my walking done before work and when the temp is cooler. I tore an ACL several years ago, so this machine is safe for me to use without the fear of injury. Also, I'm 5'4", so the length of the tread is just right for my stride, although it may not be a good fit for someone who is taller. This machine may not be adequate for the true exercise enthusiast, but it's perfect for my needs.
